1st Pedatrician meeting. All appendages accounted for. Grace is exhausted after explaining in no uncertain terms that the room was too cold, the stethoscope was WAY too cold and her weight and length are nobody’s business but her own. That said, she is 5 lbs 6 oz and 18 inches long by their count. She’s come a long way from that 2 lb 15 oz and 15 1/4 inch little thing that bleated like a lamb! She sounds more like a Vietnamese pot-bellied pig now….

We kept our NICU bracelets on to show our solidarity with Grace while she was locked up. She’s a freebaby now so we all shed our symbols of bondage together. Our plan now is a speaking tour for Grace so she can tell the world of her experience and her brethren on the inside. Free Charlie! Free Juliette! Free Griffin! Free Miguel! And, of course, free the Arnone Twins! Let Freedom Scream! Spit up and poop on the Man!
